As we often use PP tanks to store chemical products such as acids and alkalis, the unloading work is very dangerous. To ensure operational safety, we must pay attention to the following issues when discharging materials:
1. The grounding line of the PP tank and the grounding device of the tanker should be connected correctly and firmly, and the nitrogen hose should be led to the discharge area for backup.
2. Before the work, the professional technicians should tell all the operators about the whole operation process and matters needing attention, and work well.
3. The blowout operator shall use a copper wrench to remove the feed seal and secure the tanker discharge pipe to the PP tank feed port to ensure no leakage.
4. The site should be equipped with 35KG dry powder fire extinguisher 6 and enough towels, and prepare protective sand, cotton yarn and other materials, and do a good job in leakage emergency measures.
In order to ensure that PP cans will not be damaged during discharge or other accidents occur, professionals in the operation process should check whether the seals of each fire extinguisher are in good condition and whether the certificate is within the validity period and ensure that the operators do not bring fire and cigarettes.
